Kanto

Kanto Region is located on the east side of Honshu Island and comprises of 8 prefectures: Tokyo Metropolitan, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gumma, Chiba, Saitama, Kanagawa, and Yamanashi. The region is where Tokyo, the country’s capital city and metropolitan center is located, where its public transportation is considered one of the best in the world. It is a vivid urban city with state-of-the-art innovation. The sacred temples and shrines of Nikko, a world heritage site, also features the famous grand buddha statue. It is a large port city and showcases a close-up view of Mt. Fuji.

Direct flights are available from Thailand to Kanto region via Haneda Airport and Narita Airport. From Tokyo, you can take the Shinkansen train into Saitama, Tochigi, Gumma, and Kanagawa prefectures and take the local trains to Ibaraki, Chibi, and Yamanashi.
